Psychologists and researchers: review our briefings or join the advisory board

Two roles, your choice: reviewer of briefings before publication, or member of the advisory board. You can switch roles or leave at any time with one email. We offer no payment and ask nothing in return: no posts, no links, no clients. Write to experts@noosinstitute.org.

Two roles

Reviewer

You read a briefing before publication: the claim, the source table and the line “what this does not show”.
About an hour per briefing, no more than two a month, a reply within five working days.
Your name goes under the briefing only if you agree with the final text.
You can decline any task without giving a reason.
Optionally, comments to journalists in your own name: we only pass on the request.

Advisory board

Your name, photo and bio on the site.
An occasional short question in your field; answering is up to you.
No deadlines.
The board does not sign individual briefings and does not answer for their conclusions.

How briefings are made

NOOS is an independent public-benefit project founded by one person; it is not yet a registered organisation.
We recalculate published data. We run no new studies on people.
AI assistants search the literature and draft. A separate assistant checks every number against the original source; another reads the text before release.
The founder decides what is published and answers for it.
A specialist’s review is what these checks cannot replace. That is why we ask people.
If AI involvement is a reason for you to decline, that is entirely fair.

What we ask

Real name and photo
We publish no anonymous reviewers.

A verifiable qualification
A degree or certificate, membership of a professional association, an institutional page or ORCID. An institutional email is not required.

Disclosure of conflicts of interest
Who pays you for work on the briefing’s topic. The line is published next to your name.

Written consent
By email: the role and what goes on the site. We remove your name on request within a week.

What you get

Your name and profile on noosinstitute.org, linked to your institutional page or ORCID.
Your name on the briefings you reviewed, with the version date. Persistent DOIs are planned; no date yet.
Comments to the press in your own name, if you want them (reviewers only).
A letter of thanks for your employer: what you reviewed and when.

No payment. Nothing asked in return: no posts, no links, no clients.
