A public institute for psychological health
Psychological health belongs to every person.
NOOS maps how minds, groups, and cultures actually move — then turns that knowledge into programs, careful companions, and tools that employers can use without humiliating people.
Prior of the year · 2026
Evil looks like death
Installed before a child can vote
The most influential prior of 2026 is not a hashtag. It is the picture a child already has: evil looks like death. Skull, darkness, the body that stops. Later the same picture prices pharma, grief, guilt, and surplus empathy — and still wins any room, because nobody has to defend it.
Gauges, not a world mood
The strong move on this page is an empty cell: we will not rank nations by how sick their minds are. We will name a prior the whole room would vote for — death is bad — and version loneliness like air. That is positioning. A fake temperature is a stunt. A named tilt is not.

World psychological temperature
We will not publish this
A single ranking of countries by ‘how sick the minds are’ is Flu Trends in a nicer coat. Query volume and vibes are weather. They are not a census.
The empty slot is the positioning. Anyone can ship a mood score. We refuse the one that would make us famous for a year and wrong forever.

A prior the whole room would vote for
Looks like a fact
‘Death is bad’ wins in any room. Then it prices pharma, stretches dying, and charges grief, guilt, and surplus empathy as if they were physics. A world-scale tilt is not a league table of souls. v1 names the prior. It does not score nations on how much they fear a body stopping.
Naming the tilt is not a wish that people stop mourning, and not a licence to call cruelty realism.

Loneliness as air quality
Public number, not a flaw
The first gauge we will version. Isolation predicts mortality on a scale cities already understand. v1.2 will be a table a ministry can cite — calibrated against surveys, never against a hashtag.
Not a mandate that introversion is a disease, or that everyone should join a club.

Help panel or a thread
Country × crisis query × what the engine puts on the page: help, forum, method, ads. That is a map a search company can change. It is not ‘this nation got sadder’.
We do not publish methods that make harm easier to find. We do not treat a trend line as incidence.

The loud-day headline
Widens or narrows a cluster
After a high-profile death the press is a public-health instrument. The gauge is whether the sentence carried a help link and refused the method — not how many times we were tagged.
Journalism does not cause suicide one-to-one. Silence is not the only alternative to spectacle.

Make populations psychologically healthier
Less untreated trauma that turns into violence. Less loneliness that turns into despair. Less hiring folklore that quietly wrecks lives. The mission concerns every person — not a market segment.

Read- 01Untreated trauma and the temperature of a cityNeighborhoods with high exposure to violence and low access to care show clustering of aggression that is better explained by untreated traumatic stress than by 'culture' slogans.
- 02Alcohol dependence moves through networks, not through weak willDrinking intensity tracks social graphs more tightly than individual 'character'. Recovery that ignores the graph relapses into it.
- 03Loneliness is a public-health number, not a personality flawSustained isolation predicts mortality on a scale comparable to several classic biomedical risks. Youth isolation is rising in countries that otherwise 'look fine'.
Loud findings, careful claims
When a result is strong enough to change how a city or a newsroom acts, we write the fat article they want to cite — mixed sources, a method, a limit, a sentence they can steal without distorting the science.
